wedding cakes
A wedding cake is so much more than just a cake; it's a centrepiece, a talking point, a memory to treasure. We know your wedding day is likely to have involved hours of meticulous preparation, so we appreciate how important it is to choose an incredible cake that fits perfectly with everything else you've carefully planned for your special day. The details matter to you, and they matter to us too.

Practical information
Popular configurations and servings guide
The table below lists our most common cake sizes and the number of people they feed.
These figures are for round cakes and are based on a 1"x1"x6" portion size, called a wedding portion. A wedding portion is about the same amount of cake as one cupcake and is how wedding cakes are typically sliced for buffet-style service during an evening reception.
Other configurations, shapes and portion sizes are available - just get in touch and we'll happily discuss suitable options.

Pricing, payment and booking
Our wedding cakes are one-offs with multiple elements that affect their cost, and are thus priced individually. However, we know a wedding cake isn't an every day purchase and a ballpark figure is helpful for planning your wedding budget.
The following are starting prices for a round, plainly iced vanilla wedding cake:
-
Six inch single tier: from £90
-
Five inch and seven inch two tier: from £175
-
Six inch, eight inch and ten inch three tier: from £350.
The cost of decoration, delivery and set up are not included in these figures.
Wedding cakes are often large and elaborate so take many days to produce. Our commitment to excellence means we accept a limited number of wedding cake orders for each week, so some dates fill up months or years in advance. It is therefore a good idea to reserve your date with us sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
To confirm your wedding cake booking we require a 30% deposit, and the outstanding balance is due four weeks before your wedding date.
You can find more information about wedding cakes on our FAQs page, here.
