The beauty of choosing a bespoke anniversary cake from La Petite Bouche Bakery is that every element - from size and shape to flavour and decoration - is tailored to you. We have made all kinds of anniversary cakes over the years: those with personal jokes just for the two of you, to huge ruby-coloured creations to share to mark 40 years together. As with all our creations, our anniversary cakes are plant-based by default, though you'd never know if we didn't tell you.

We have an extensive list of flavours to choose from which you can find here, or you can request something unique and we will almost certainly be able to make it for you. Our flavours are plant-based by default and many can be altered to suit other dietary requirements.
Sizes, servings and prices
If you're planning an intimate celebration for two then we recommend a five inch diameter cake. This is our smallest cake size, though still plenty big enough to enjoy a couple of slices each over a few days. If you're celebrating your anniversary with others then a larger cake is likely to be a better fit - the table below can be used a guide and we can advise on what's best for your specific requirements.
These figures are for round cakes in our standard height - four layers of sponge, six inches tall - and are based on a 2"x1"x6" portion size, called a dessert portion. A dessert portion is about the same amount of cake as two cupcakes.
Since no two anniversary cakes are the same, we don't have a standard price list. Instead, we can give a base price for a plainly-iced cake and will then give a quote for your tailored cake once we've got all the details. This will depend largely on the complexity of the design and how long it takes to make your cake. We are always happy to advise on adjustments to your ideas to bring them in line with your budget, if you have one. Full payment is required two weeks before delivery.
