Our children's birthday cakes are all about bringing your child's dreams to life in cake form. From favourite characters and beloved hobbies to colourful themes and magical creatures, the options are endless!
Edible enchantment
We create bespoke children's birthday cakes, meaning every element is tailored to your child's preferences and personality. Importantly, this includes accommodating any dietary requirements to ensure your child's cake can be shared with everyone at their party. Our cakes are actually vegan by default - baked without eggs or dairy - to make them as inclusive as possible, with no compromise on taste, flavours or design.
We often use cake toppers or plastic models on our children's cakes. These are a great alternative to fondant models because:

They can be kept as mementos or toys

They give the truest likeness to the character(s)

They're a much quicker way of adding a theme, so more cost-effective

They don't involve additional sugar or food colourings.
Edible prints - pictures printed onto icing using edible inks - are a popular choice for character and themed cakes, too.

Sizes, servings and prices
Our children's birthday cakes come in a variety of sizes to accommodate different numbers of guests. If you let us know how many adults and children will be in attendance, we can advise on what best suits your needs.
Our most common children's birthday cake sizes and the number of people they feed are listed below. These figures are for round cakes in our standard height - four layers of sponge, six inches tall - and are based on a 1"x1"x6" portion size. This is roughly the same amount of cake as one cupcake, so an ideal size for little ones.
Our cakes are always bespoke so we don't have a published price list. Instead, we can give a base price for a standard, plainly-iced cake and will then give a quote for your design once we've got all the details. This will depend largely on the complexity of the decoration and how long it takes to make your cake. We are always happy to advise on adjustments to your ideas to bring them in line with your budget, if you have one. Full payment is required two weeks before delivery.

Beyond the cake
We know there's lots to think about when arranging a child's party - sending invitations, booking a venue, putting party bags together and so on. Let us take the stress of the birthday cake out of the equation - we will deliver and set up your cake at your venue, meaning one less thing to do on the day of the party.
We are based near Reading, Berkshire, and deliver all over the south east of England.
